We may collect information directly from you when you request an appointment, submit an inquiry, complete an electronic intake or consent form, purchase a service or product, communicate with us by telephone, email, text message, social media, or website forms, participate in promotions or memberships, or otherwise voluntarily provide information. We may also receive information from service providers that assist us with appointment scheduling, electronic records, payment processing, communications, website hosting, analytics, marketing, and other business functions.
We may use personal information to respond to inquiries, schedule and manage appointments, provide requested services, communicate regarding appointments and treatment, process payments, maintain appropriate business and patient records, provide customer service, administer memberships and promotions, communicate about products or services you request, improve our website and services, monitor website performance, prevent fraud or misuse, maintain security, comply with legal and regulatory requirements, and protect the rights, safety, and property of Bae Beauty Aesthetics, our patients, and others.
Depending on the services requested or provided, Bae Beauty Aesthetics may collect information that qualifies as protected health information under HIPAA or consumer health data under applicable Washington law. Health-related information may be used when reasonably necessary to provide requested services, conduct consultations, evaluate treatment suitability, create and maintain appropriate records, document treatment, communicate regarding care, schedule follow-up care, process transactions, comply with legal obligations, and maintain the safety and security of the practice. Health information maintained as part of a patient's healthcare record may be subject to additional privacy protections described in our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.
Bae Beauty Aesthetics uses third-party service providers to support website operations, appointment scheduling, patient management, electronic records, payment processing, financing, communications, email, text messaging, website hosting, analytics, and other business functions. Our current service providers may include GoDaddy for website hosting and related website services, Aesthetic Record for certain patient management, scheduling, intake, consent, treatment documentation, photography, and related practice-management functions, Cherry for financing services when voluntarily requested by a patient, Google/Gmail for business email communications, and social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram. Information submitted directly to a third-party service may also be subject to that company's own privacy policy and terms.
If you choose to apply for financing through Cherry, information submitted as part of the financing application is provided to Cherry for purposes of evaluating and administering financing. Bae Beauty Aesthetics does not control information collected directly by Cherry through its financing application. Your use of Cherry's financing services is subject to Cherry's applicable terms and privacy practices.
We may use email and text messaging to communicate regarding appointments, scheduling, requested services, follow-up care, account information, and other administrative matters. Where permitted by law, we may also send promotional or marketing communications if you have provided the appropriate consent. You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe option provided in the email and may opt out of marketing text messages by following the instructions provided in the message. Opting out of marketing communications does not necessarily prevent necessary appointment, transactional, or other service-related communications.
Bae Beauty Aesthetics maintains social media accounts, including Facebook and Instagram, and may use these platforms to communicate with clients, provide educational content, advertise services, and promote the practice. Information you voluntarily provide through social media may be visible to or collected by the applicable platform and is subject to that platform's privacy policy. Bae Beauty Aesthetics does not intentionally disclose protected health information or identifiable patient treatment information to social media platforms for marketing purposes without the appropriate authorization or other lawful basis.
